🌂 How Does Radiator Fan Work

I have same issue I'm driving Honda Accord 2003 model. 2.4ltr 4 cylinder. I had one fan which readaitor fan bad another A fan was working properly..radiator fan was not working anymore. I tested found readitor fan motor is bad. I went junk yard I asked with guy same brand same motor . and he installed that I thought I have Done the issued clear. If the fans never work, it could be the cooling fan ECU (located behind the grill), but check the 50A fuse powering it, and the fan relay first. If the fans fail to operate only with the AC, but do come on in normal hot engine conditions, then the fuse and relays are fine - it's a command problem at the ECU or the AC controller. Both radiator fan and condenser. fan do not run on low or high. speed with the A/C ON or when. the engine coolant temperature. is above 210°F (99°C) Check the No. 3 (15A) fuse in the driver’s under-dash. fuse/relay box. If the fuse is faulty, replace it. If the fuse is OK, repair the open in the wire between the. A fan works to keep cool air moving over the radiator if the car is stopped or driving slowly in traffic. Pressure generated by the water pump maintains the flow of coolant through the radiator. Once heat has dissipated, the core tubes join again at the other end of the radiator, pumping cold coolant through the coolant jacket again. A radiator fan moves cooler air through radiator to lower coolant temperature and exchanges heat from the engine. When an engine is running, it produces heat, and that heat dissipates so that the engine does not become too hot and overheat. The heater core works by way of a blower motor forcing air over the core, pushing the now-heated air into the passenger compartment. Because the heater core shares coolant with the main radiator, a low coolant level in the cooling system can lead to there not being enough to supply the heater core and generate heat. If the radiator fan is not working properly, your ac will malfunction as well. A broken radiator fan will cause the ac to give negative output without any doubt. It will have a negative impact on the ac. So needless to say, the radiator fan controls AC. Radiator fan will affect the ac low pressure readings. If the radiator fan is not working Steam radiators are connected to a boiler given the task of heating up water. The boiler heats water until it forms into steam. The steam then travels up through the vertical pipe to the radiator where the thermal energy is given off through the fins. As the heat is lost from the steam, it slowly begins to turn back into water. To test each fan, you can jump each fan through the connectors (located on the fan shroud, should be clipped on the shroud) straight from the battery using test leads and proper probes. If both fans turn on, fans are then okay. Now you will have to look for an open in the circuit of each fans. Since you didn't post any make, model or year. The generic answer is the low speed comes on at a certain engine temp or a/c pressure and it goes to high speed if the temps or pressures exceed the low speed ranges. The PCM turns the fans off & on via a relay. To achieve the 2 different speeds the fans are wired in series for low speed ( shared Step 2: Install the four-terminal relay to a proper and sturdy mounting location that allows you to get as possible to the radiator. To loosen and tighten the mounting bolt, use a ¼-inch drive ratchet and socket. Once you’ve located an accessible location for the switch, install it on or under the dash panel. The compressor pressurizes the refrigerant gas and sends the refrigerant into the outdoor unit’s condenser coil. A large fan pulls outdoor air through the condenser coil, allowing the air to absorb heating energy from the home and release it outside. During this process, the refrigerant is converted back to a liquid. DJy1Jn.
