🍸 Canon Camera Connect Not Working
Use USB, because it is MUCH faster. The Wi-Fi is intended to work best with mobile devices. Having built in Wi-Fi does not mean your camera is fully networkable. The cameras seem to use it as a longer range Bluetooth. Canon sells adapters that make cameras fully networkable. -----

To clear the wifi settings go to the fourth page under the yellow wrench icon, select Communication Settings, choose Built-in Wireless Settings, and select Clear Settings. Once you've done that go back into Built-in Wireless Settings and enable the wifi. When you do that the camera will have you set a nickname.

It can take 30-60 seconds to connect to the GPS satellites – this process may not work indoors, so you might need to go outside where your camera has a clear view of the sky. The GPS icon on the LCD screen will blink while connecting and will turn solid when connected. Your location data will now be saved with your files.

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T6, an iphone 12 mini, and an iPad OS 14.2. I just upgraded my iphone recently - I used to have an iphone 6s which paired with the app and I was able to remote shoot from there. EOS Utility and the camera may not communicate normally with a cable other than the EOS DIGITAL camera-dedicated Canon interface cable. Connect your camera and computer directly with the interface cable. Do not connect the camera via a hub; doing so may prevent EOS Utility and your camera from communicating normally.
