🦔 Microsoft Office 2019 Licence Key

I've just purchased office 2019 for a new computer (my previous computer is 9 years old and was running an older office (2010 I think) the whole time. I have an existing Microsoft account and bought a licence for office 2019 and installed it. When I go to activate it it seems the only way I have an option to enter my licence key is if I sign The splash screen does say that is office 2019 but the license section said that its office 365. It DOES accept office 2019 Product Key. It doesn't stop me from using office but it just is infuriating. With Office 2019 this is done by Microsoft when Office 2019 is purchased from the Microsoft Office Store. The user is not provided with the Product Key. Microsoft creates the Office Account and the user signs in using the same email address and password for the Microsoft Account that they used to purchase Office from the store. They did not install Office, I did. I purchased Office from them with a new PC and the software came as a Microsoft card with a product key and download instructions. I followed the card's instructions and installed Office. It was accepted and authorized by Microsoft, not Sager. All they did was supply Microsoft's card. Office worked with no Only options left are speaking with MS support or chatting with them sharing invoices and waste 1 hour on each machine. Can support proviede some simple steps in case of. 1. Office home and student 2019 is not getting redeemed via digital licence. 2. windows was RESET prior activating office. thanks. This thread is locked. Daily key claim limits restrict the number of keys that can be claimed per day per subscription. The daily key claim limit is 10 keys for most Visual Studio subscriptions, including keys offered through Microsoft Cloud Partner Network, BizSpark, MCT Software & Services, and MCT. Some other subscriptions have a daily key claim limit of seven keys. I've reinstalled office 3 times, confirmed the 19 license is active on same account I'm signed into on the laptop. On the accounts screen in Word/Excel it used to have a link above the "License set to expire" which had Other Licensing information (yes, was the 2019 license, but it wouldn't allow me select it) but after the 365 fully expired I Depending on what license you’ve deleted …. Start one of the Office 365 programs and go to File | Account. Most likely you’ll have to reactivate the software, just follow the prompts then restart Office (yet again). Now you should see a Microsoft 365 licence only and all the ‘365’ goodies are available to you. Because Office isn't listed there (and it isn't under "services & subscriptions" because it wasn't a subscription purchase), I don't know if just deleting the old device on the Microsoft account will allow me to install Office 2019 on the new device without having to buy a new license. I bought a new laptop and was hoping someone can let me know if it is possible to remove my 2019 Office Home & Student License from my old laptop and transfer it to my new one. I want to avoid having to purchase a new Office Home & Student License for my new laptop since I don't need Office anymore on my old laptop. Office 2019 licenses are not subscriptions, they are perpetual (one time purchase) licenses, which means, you can use them forever without expiration. Office 365 subscriptions on the other hand are valid or either a month or year depending the type of subscription you choose. Best regards, Andre Da Costa. Independent Advisor for Directly.
